We really want to buy a mature broadleaved woodland in the UK but we’re not doing so well finding one. So we’re hoping that with your help we’ll have better luck.
Unlike houses, woods are not so easy to find. Yes, they do come up on property sites, or the few dedicated woodland for sale sites but we’re finding that a great deal of woodlands for sale don’t get to the open market, or are listed on individual (and probably specialist) agents’ websites that don’t feed into the likes of Rightmove or they are snapped up super-quickly.
You can help us by being our eyes and ears. In return we’ll pay you a finders fee.
- Have you seen a ‘for sale’ sign up somewhere near your home or when you’ve been on your travels?
- Is there an advert for one in your local paper?
- Did you hear someone mention something down the pub?
- Are you a landowner with a chunk of woodland that you no longer want?
We’ve put together a list of our requirements such as how much land we’re after and where we’re looking. If you find anything that you think we might be interested then please do get in touch and tell us about it.
